Our Story

We started this marketplace because Genesee and Shiawassee counties are full of people quietly doing extraordinary work - raising pastured meat, tending market gardens, baking from home kitchens, keeping bees, throwing pots. Most of them don't have the time or bandwidth to run a full ecommerce operation, and most of their neighbors don't know they exist.

We built one place where a shopper can find them all, place an order, and pick it up - and where a farm can be discovered without having to become a marketing agency.

We review every vendor personally. We never mark up wholesale food. We take zero commission on wholesale orders between restaurants and farms - that trade is already thin, and we'd rather help it happen than tax it.
