Our Story

We started this marketplace because Genesee and Shiawassee counties are full of people quietly doing extraordinary work - raising pastured meat, tending market gardens, baking from home kitchens, keeping bees, throwing pots. Most of them don't have the time or bandwidth to run a full ecommerce operation, and most of their neighbors don't know they exist.

We built one place where a shopper can find them all, place an order, and pick it up - and where a farm can be discovered without having to become a marketing agency.

Storefronts are free and open to local growers and makers. We review optional badge paperwork and required wholesale licenses. We never mark up wholesale food. We take zero commission on wholesale orders between restaurants and farms - that trade is already thin, and we'd rather help it happen than tax it.

This is a small operation run by neighbors, for neighbors. If you have a question, a farm to recommend, or an idea to make this better - write to us.
